Product Description

APAGAR FR Sealant is a one-part flexible acrylic water based acoustic, fire rated sealant. It is specifically formulated to form an acoustic and fire rated intumescent barrier by sealing gaps between plasterboard walls, floors,ceilings, dry linings and Kraft lined insulation boards. It adheres to all construction substrates and can be painted within one hour, dependent on temperature and humidity. APAGAR FR Sealant is solvent free, non-flammable, and easy to use and clean up.

Forms an acoustic and fire rated intumescent barrier. Up to 2-hour fire rating can be achieved.

Application:

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and sound. In order to obtain a smooth professional finish masking tape may be used to ensure neat sealant lines. Apply a continuous sealant bead into the joint. Tool within 5 minutes of application with a suitable spatula. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling.
APAGAR FR Sealant is only water resistant once fully cured; therefore, do not apply in damp conditions.

STORAGE : To be stored indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat source and moisture.
