Apagar Cladfill Acoustic Sealant

Product Description

APAGAR Cladfill Acoustic Sealant is a high-quality water based, co-polymer acrylic with acoustic properties. It is specifically formulated to seal low movement joints, gaps and cracks for internal applications. Cladfill acoustic sealant can be used externally if over painted once cured. Typical applications include sealing joints around door frames, between gypsum panels, around windows, general gap filling for internal purposes and sealing of fixtures and fittings.

Application: Surfaces should be clean and free from any contamination. If applying from a cartridge, using a cartridge applicator, press firmly to extrude the material into the joint / gap / crack. Ensure the material is pressed/tooled into the opening to ensure no air entrapment and good surface contact for adhesion. Any excess material can be removed with a flat blade to give a smooth finish. Masking tap can be used to give a clean edge.

If applying from a plastic tub, material can be applied with a spatula, putty knife or trowel. Excess material on surrounding surfaces can be removed while uncured using a damp cloth.
